This is a scissor capped match. It is a four round mixed wrestling match where the woman gets the first minute of each 3-minute round to squeeze away with their legs while the man is unable to fight out of the scissorhold.
During the initial minute of each round, Sweet Sara will start with a headscissor hold. She will be awarded 1 point for each tap out she gets on Kevin during this initial minute. As soon as the clock hits 1 minute, it instantly becomes a normal competitive mixed wrestling match.
Not only can Sweet Sara rack up some points during the first minute of each round, but she can also strategize to wear out her larger opponent. The scissorhold is the great equalizer in male vs female combat, and this format allows for a truly competitive mixed wrestling match.
Yes, in a normal competitive match, Sweet Sara wouuldn’t stand much of a chance against Kevin who is more than 100 pounds heavier than her. But with this format she has a realistic chance to defeat him, but she will have to be strategic in using the first minute of each round to tire out Kevin while racking up a lead in points.
After the initial minute, points can be scored by submission (3 points), 10-second schoolgirl pin (1 point), round domination points awarded by three judges (1 or 2 points), and end of round bonus points for securing a shoulder pin or bodyscissors (1 points), or headscissors, rear naked choke with bodyscissor combo, or schoolgirl pin (2 points)
