If you enjoy watching a good upset, this tournament has been a treat.
Just when you think you have everyone’s pecking order figured out at the 2025 Colombian Cup the unthinkable seems to happen. As the tournament moves forward the number of upsets appears to be picking up with three substantial underdogs shocking their favored opponents in the second preliminary round.
The 2025 Colombian Cup is a Mixed Wrestling Tournament featuring 16 total fighters with 12 women and 4 men. There are three preliminary rounds followed by half of the fighters making it to the single elimination playoff bracket. Coming into the tournament we though we had a solid idea of which eight fighters would make it to the elimination rounds, but we’re not even finished with the second preliminary round and already the standings have been shaken up with the three huge upsets in round two.
Let’s take a look at the big surprises in round two.
Mishelle stuns Yesenia handing her a second career loss

Yesenia entered the 2025 Colombian Cup with a 20-1 overall record and three time tournament champion. She is one of the first fighters at the Underground Mixed Wrestling Club, a former Championship Belt Holder, and the current number one contender for the belt, not to mention the favorite to win this tournament. Her long legs and muscular thighs have been a force to reckon with. Her only loss was to the current Championship Belt holder Tatiana.
Her round two opponent was the feisty and petite Mishelle, fighting in two spots in the tournament as she took the place of Patricia in Division D, who had to bow out at the last minute, in addition to her own spot in Division A.
Mishelle is the smallest fighter in the tournament and she also came in with little wrestling experience. These facts made her the least likely fighter to win the tournament at 1400-1 odds. However, Mishelle is a warrior with high stamina from her Cross-Country background, top tier quickness, and gymnast athleticism from her cheer leading days.

Coming into her fight with Yesenia, Mishelle had already participated in three other tournament matches. While she had lost all three, her competitiveness has been apparent in her refusal to give up even when she has been down big on the scoreboard. This was most apparent in her last fight against Kevin, where despite being down 5-0 after the first round, Mishelle stormed back in the second round and nearly upset her male opponent who was more than twice her size, finishing the fight with a 5-4 score.
Yesenia came onto the mats arrogant and over confident, almost wondering why she had to waste her precious time wrestling with the petite Mishelle. However, when the fight began you can see it in her eyes that Mishelle was focused and had come to win. Yesenia was able to shake off her initial stiffness from being unprepared and take an early lead, but Mishelle’s stamina would prove to give Yesenia problems as the match continues.

Soon Yesenia found herself trapped between Mishelle’s petite, yet firm, thighs as she squeezed away with every ounce of energy she had in her body. Yesenia could feel herself falling behind as the smaller Mishelle’s dominance became more apparant to the judges and fans watch the intense battle.
When the fight ended Yesenia couldn’t do anything but put her face in her hands from the shock of losing to the much smaller Mishelle, as she experienced only her second ever loss at Kink Sports.
Jessica Squeezes the Air out of Antonio

Though he lost his first round match to Yesenia, many saw that as an inexperienced male fighting one of the best females at the club for the first time. With Anotio’s youthful energy and impressive strength, many had him not only making it to the elimination round, but also considered him a top four contender to win the entire tournament.
What Antonio, and mostly everyone else, was not expecting was the the emergence of a new contender in the form of 112 pound Jessica. Jessica has shown through this tournament and her previous debut at the July 2025 Triple Fight Night, that she might have the strongest pound for pound headscissor squeeze.

Throughout the match Jessica continued to wrap her lean legs around the 5’11” and 185 pound Antonio and squeeze tighter and tighter as she took the air right out of his body. The athletically built boxer has never had to deal with this type of squeezing pressure on his body during his boxing bouts, but he is learning first hand that this is an entirely different type of combat sport.
With Yesenia losing to Mishelle in round 2, Jessica has now taken full control of Division D. All of a sudden she is looking like the contender to win the entire tournament while Antonio searches for answers in a humiliation state of mind.
Camila Shows David that she is not a fluke

Camila’s first round upset over the 6’1″ Claudia was quite a surprise to all participants at the tournament, and especially Claudia who was visibly confused how she had let the 114 pound college girl come back and beat her after having a nice lead.
Claudia controlled the action for more than 80% of round one and was in control for the first half of the second round. It wasn’t until the last quarter of the fight when things really flipped as Camila’s stamina took over and all of a sudden the petite girl was over powering the tall girl who out weighed her by 60 pounds.
The nature of that first round fight had many people believing that Camila’s win was a bit of a fluke, and if the two of them fought 10 times then Claudia would probably win 9 of them. One of those people who believed this was David, who stated that despite her impressive win that he was not worried at all about the petite Camila having the same type of success against him as she did against Claudia.
An over confident David, who outweighed Camila by 90 pounds, took control of the match early and even held back at times allowing Camila to escape instead of getting the instant submission, enjoying the moment as he showed complete dominance over Camila. This would prove to be a huge mistake.

Much like her fight with Claudia, Camila used to her stamina and focus to keep the fight within striking distance. She trailed David in points for the majority of the fight, but as the fight was coming to an end the opportunity that she was waiting for made itself available and she went on the attack. The smaller Camila pounced on her larger opponent, wrapping her legs around his midsection as she snaked her arms around his neck, and she leaned back and began to cut the air supply to his lungs.
Shocked and confused, David likely realized his error in the final seconds leading up to his tap out which gave Camila the late lead that eventually lead to her winning the fight and going to 2-0 as she finds herself at the top of Division B.

Crucial Round 3 Matches
With these three upsets round 3 of the tournament is setting up to have some amazing match ups that will determine which eight fighters advance to the elimination round.
Division A is the one division where we already know who will advance as both Kevin and Sofia advanced to 2-0. The two of them will meet to determine who will be the #1 seed from the division and who will be the #2. Good new for Sara, who after suffering an injury in her round 2 match to Sofia, has been cleared by doctors to give it a go for her round 3 match against Mishelle.
In Division B, Camila has locked in a playoff spot with her victory over David. However, her opponent Vanesa in round 3 can get take the #1 seed by beating her. Meanwhile, David and Claudia, the two victims of Camila’s bulldozer run, will face off in a fight that has important playoff implications. David needs to win the fight and a little help on the score board from the Camila vs Vanesa fight in order for him to advance. At the moment Vegas is giving him a 50/50 shot and making the elimination bracket.

The three women in Division C – Juliana, Marilyn, and Chica Python – are all in position to take one of the two playoff spots. A win my Marilyn, who is currently 2-0, will guarantee her the #1 seed, but she can still get the #2 seed with a loss. Both Juliana and Chica Python will need to win their fights and will need a little help with the scoring from the other’s match.
Anything can happen in Division D with all four fighters still having a chance to advance thanks to Mishelle’s stunning upset over Yesenia. Even 2-0 Jessica has not clinched a spot yet, though she will clinch the #1 Division D seed with a victory over her friend Yesenia.
Antonio, despite being 0-2, can still get in with a win over Mishelle, who he will tower over with a significant size advantage, and a little help from Jessica who will have to beat Yesenia with a substantial margin on the score board. A victory by Yesenia should secure her spot in the playoffs, though she will need a little bit of help from Antonio to beat Mishelle, or at least not lose to her by a large margin which seems unlikely.
As we have seen so far, anything can happen, so stay tuned for the results. All tournament matches are available for individual purchase and are available for subscribers of our Kinksports Streaming TV service, a mixed wrestling, female wrestling, and headscissor fantasy membership all-in-one platform; three memberships in one.
