After four grueling and sweaty playoff matches where all eight fighters put everything they had on the mats, we are now down to the final four of the 2025 Colombian Cup Mixed Wrestling Tournament as the 2026 Playoffs inches closer to a champion. As luck will have it, this gigantic mixed wrestling tournament that started with 16 fighters will see two mixed wrestling matches in the final four.
On one side of the bracket we will have long time veterans Yesenia and Kevin facing off, while the best of the 2025 class – Sofia and David – will square off for the first time. Let’s break down the match-ups and see how they got here.
Yesenia vs Kevin
Yesenia and Kevin are two of the original Kinksports wrestlers that began in 2024. There first meeting was at Kinksports’ first wrestling tournament that took place on sand volleyball courts. Kevin was told that Yesenia was a 5’11” runway model who didn’t really play any sports. Kevin figured it would be an easy fight for him until he found himself trapped in her vicious reverse headscissors.
Yesenia would go on to beat Kevin that day, and then followed it up by making him verbally submit in front of his then girlfriend at the Tournament After-Party while Yesenia wore lingerie. It was an extremely embarrassing moment for Kevin as his girlfriend Laura B. watched in disbelief.
Besides that day, the two met one other time at the 2024 March Madness Tournament where Kevin began with a lead getting a choke submission on Yesenia. However, Yesenia would eventually come back and win on points. It has been a solid year and a half since these two last faced off against each other.
In what was the closest fight of round 1, Yesenia defeated Marilyn who many had as the favorite to win the championship coming into the playoffs. Clearly Marilyn and Yesenia were two of the top fighters who remained, but they were matched up against each other largely because of Mishelle’s huge upset win over Yesenia in the preliminary rounds.
In the end, if you are going to win the entire tournament you have to be able to beat anyone who comes your way and that is exactly what Yesenia did as the Queen of Kinksports approved her overall record to 22-2 as her long legs overpowered the thick and muscular thighs of Marilyn. Currently Yesenia has more competitive wins than anyone else at the underground mixed wrestling club and is the overall number 1 contender for the championship belt, currently owned by Tatiana.
Meanwhile, Kevin was able to take care of undefeated Camila who was on an upset bulldozer run. In typical Camila fashion, the college cutie used her quickness and flexibility to get her legs around Kevin’s body and head at opportunistic times to keep the score close. She came very close to securing yet another upset, but ultimately Kevin’s size advantage was too much for her to overcome this time.
Kevin will rely on his size and upper body strength advantage to control Yesenia and get the win. Meanwhile, look for Yesenia to do what she does best with her long legs and powerful thighs: trap, squeeze, and submit. Kevin has been waiting for a long time to get revenge against Yesenia for embarrassing him against his ex-girlfriend which he believes led to their breakup. Yesenia is looking for her four tournament win which will set her up for a rematch against Tatiana to take back the belt.
Sofia vs David
The other semifinal match will put former fan turned mixed wrestling veteran David (6’1, 210 pounds) against the out of this world beautiful Sofia (5’7, 132 pounds). Sofia’s dominance in the tournament so far has been a huge surprise. Coming into the tournament she only had a couple of matches under her belt, and club commissioner Kevin didn’t want her competing as she has become kinksports’ most popular headscissor fantasy model.
However, Sofia was determined to participate and even challenged Kevin to a tournament qualifier match; if she was able to beat Kevin she would be guaranteed one of the 16 spots, and she did in fact beat him with an impressive headstand foot grab and choke in the fashion of Sonya Blade.
Sofia dominated division A in the preliminary rounds with a 3-0 record, and then took care of Juliana – the only fighter to ever defeat current champion Tatiana – in the first round of the elimination playoffs. Juliana was understood to be the superior grappler coming into her fight with Sofia, but Sofia really took control from start to finish. If Sofia can beat Juliana who beat Tatiana, all of a sudden there is talk that Sofia might be the best fighter at Kinksports. If she can win this tournament, she will likely move quickly to challenge Tatiana for the belt.
Meanwhile David did just enough to make it to the playoffs with close call wins against the 6’1” Claudia and the thick thighs of 5’8” Vanesa. However, he experienced an embarrassing upset loss to the rookie Camila, something that still might be lingering in his head. Despite the loss which cost him the Division B championship, he was impressive in a late comeback win against Jessica in their first round playoff bout.
David will have the size and strength advantage while Sofia has a tremendous stamina, flexibility, and acrobatic edge. Despite being 5’7” with long legs and coming in at 132 pounds, Sofia has the athleticism of someone much smaller from her cheer-leading background. David will look to control Sofia’s athleticism edge by using his power to get her to the ground and laying on top of her to keep her pinned down. His 80 pound edge over Sofia will be his greatest advantage.
Sofia has shown herself to be an aggressive wrestler who doesn’t back down from anyone. She believes that once she gets her legs around any opponent, she just needs to squeeze away with all of her core and leg strength and her opponent will eventually submit or tire out. So far she has been correct about this strategy.
2025 Colombian Cup & 2026 Colombian Cup Playoffs
In case there is any confusion the 2025 Colombian Cup and the 2026 Colombian Cup Playoffs are both part of the same overall tournament; In the same fashion that the NFL 2026 Playoffs is the conclusion to the 2025 NFL season.
