Finally we have set the match for the 2026 Colombian Cup Championship. Current Kinksports Underground Mixed Wrestling Club Championship Belt Holder Tatiana will face off against the undefeated and number one contender Sofia for both the Tournament Championship and Club Championship Belt.
Both women are 5’7″ tall with long and strong legs. Sofia has a slight weight advantage at 132 pounds vs Tatiana’s 128 pounds. Both women are extremely athletic, quick on their feet, flexible, and are in top tier shape with excellent stamina. You can’t find a more evenly matched fight as the number one fighter Tatiana will defend her belt against the number 2 ranked fighter, and still undefeated, Sofia.
How Did We Get Here?
The championship was originally scheduled to be Sofia vs Yesenia, but Yesenia appears to be too scared to show up for the fight, cancelling multiple times right before the fight was about to happen.
Finally club commission Kevin decided to do a Championship match between Sofia and Tatiana, Karate Kid 3 style. Tatiana did not compete in this tournament originally because she was heeling from an ankle sprain, but now that she is healed, she will defend her title and take on her good friend and protege Sofia. If you recall in the movie Karate Kid 3, Daniel gets to advance straight to the championship match since he is the defending champion. If it was good enough for the Karate Kid franchise it will be good enough for Kinksports tournament wrestling.
After maintaining the Championship Belt for over a 18 months, will this be the day that we have a new Champion?
The Largest Real Mixed Wrestling Tournament Ever Held
The 2025 Colombian Cup and 2026 Colombian Cup Playoffs was the largest mixed wrestling tournament ever held. The tournament included 16 fighters (12 women, 4 men), of which 8 advanced to the single-elimination playoffs. The 16 fighters were divided into 4 divisions. Each fighter had three preliminary matches where they wrestled each person in their division. The top two finishers of each round, determined first by win loss record and then by total points scored, advanced to the playoffs.
Sofia came into the tournament with little competitive wrestling experience, but she bull dozed her way to the playoffs going 3-0 in her division, including a comeback upset win against club commissioner Kevin. She continued her success in the playoffs by beating veterans Juliana and David to advance to the championship.
On the other side of the tournament was the winningest wrestler in Kinksports history, three time tournament champion, and former kinksports club championship belt holder Yesenia. Yesenia had an up and down tournament securing key wins against the newcomer Antonio and the quick Jessica. However, Yesenia was also humbled and embarrassed by the petite Mishelle who handed Yesenia only her second ever loss.
Still, Yesenia found her winning ways again the in the playoffs by beating Marilyn, who many had as their tournament favorite, and then had a comeback win against her long term rival Kevin in the semifinals.
Yesenia and Sofia have a long history of doing fantasy videos with each other. Though they were fantasy, both competitors would get very aggressive with each other in those videos, so there is no doubt that Yesenia has a good idea of Sofia’s power. Sofia is a good 8 years younger than Yesenia and appears to have a tremendous quickness advantage, though you never want to underestimate anything physical about Yesenia.
For whatever reason it seems that Yesenia, without actually saying it, has forfeited her position in the championship due to the fear of facing off against Sofia who remains undefeated in her career.
The Return of Tatiana
Tatiana did not compete in the Colombian Cup because she was healing from an injury when the tournament began. She has largely remained off the mats over the past 6 months, enjoying her time as the undisputed champion. She recently made a comeback and got back to her winning ways. Now she will take on her good friend and protege.
Tatiana is the reason Sofia joined the club, and early on Tatiana taught Sofia everything she knew about mixed wrestling and headscissor techniques. She even taught her the difficult handstand headscissor grab. To date they are the only two fighters who have pulled off that move in a competitive match.
Sofia is about 5 years younger than Tatiana, but Tatiana continues to have the quickness edge. Both fighters have tremendous flexibility and stamina and are two the of best athletes at kinksports. Sofia thighs are a little thicker and more powerful that Tatiana’s. Sofia is more likely to be able to achieve a bodyscissor submission with her python legs than Tatiana.
The one woman both fighters have faced was Juliana (5’5”, 125 pounds). Juliana so far has been the only person (man or woman) to have defeated Tatiana. Tatiana and Juliana recently had a rematch and again Tatiana was unable to defeat her, though this time the match was called a tie by the judges.
Meanwhile, Sofia met Juliana in the quarterfinals of the Colombian Cup and while Juliana put up a good fight, Sofia was clearly the better and stronger fighter. If we take this on face value than Sofia should be favored to beat Tatiana. However, wrestling is a sport of matchups, so anything could happen. Tatiana also has sort of a psychological big sister advantage over Sofia. Sofia will have to put their friendship to the side for the duration of the fight if she is to become the new champion.
